An Unbroken Family By Sarah Kroger

The lyrics praise the Holy Trinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—establishing the foundation of Christian belief. The song emphasizes the idea of God as a loving family, emphasizing the relationship between the divine entities and the human family.

The song’s central message is about healing and reconciliation. The lyrics describe how Jesus, by becoming humanity’s transgressions and being crucified, aimed to mend a broken world and bring people together as one “unbroken family.” The phrase “kiss of peace” refers to Jesus’ sacrifice, which reconciles humanity to God.

The lyrics also address themes of redemption and transformation. Stubborn hearts of sin and stone are humbled by God’s kindness and mercy, allowing the wayward to be reconciled to the Father. The song highlights the transformative power of God’s love in mending hearts and leaving them wild for His glory.

In the chorus, the words “undivided” and “reunited” emphasize the unity and connection achieved through Jesus’ sacrifice. The lyrics assert that nothing can separate the believers from the love of God, reflecting the strength of their bond.

This song is an expression of gratitude and devotion to the Holy Trinity, celebrating the unity, redemption, and love made possible through Jesus’ sacrifice. The ultimate goal is for humanity to come together as an “unbroken family,” reflecting the divine relationship between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Let’s talk about faith, courage and love.

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love."

In 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Paul is encouraging the Corinthian church to be vigilant and steadfast in their faith. He urges them to be on guard against false teachings and temptations that may lead them astray. He also tells them to be courageous and strong in their beliefs, and to always do everything in love.

These verses remind us that our faith is not a passive thing, but rather it requires effort and intentionality. We must be vigilant in protecting our faith and to be ready to stand firm in the face of adversity. We must also be courageous in sharing our faith and in standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult.

Additionally, Paul reminds us that we should always be doing everything in love. Love should be the guiding principle in all that we do, whether it be in our relationships with others, or in the way we live our lives. Love should be the motivation for all that we do, and it should be evident in all our actions.

In summary, Paul encourages the Corinthian church and us to be vigilant, steadfast, courageous and strong in our faith, and to always do everything in love. Let us strive to live out these principles in our own lives, so that we may be true servants of Christ.

Walking Free!

The verdict was guilty
Case closed the end
No chance for me to ever leave
This prison of my sin
Now I know it might sound crazy
But one day a key unlocked that cell
I heard a small voice say
Your debts been paid by somebody else

And now I’m walking, walking
Walking free
No more darkness
Guilt has lost its grip on me
When mercy called my name
Those chains fell at my feet
And now I’m walking, walking
Walking free

Now I ain’t nothing perfect
I still stumble every single day
I still get knocked down
But the difference now
Is that’s not where I stay
‘Cause I’ve got a Savior
Who knows everywhere I’ve been
And He’s telling me that I never have to
Go back there again

So now I’m walking, walking
Walking free
No more darkness
Guilt has lost its grip on me
When mercy called my name
Those chains fell at my feet
And now I’m walking, walking
Walking free

Walking free (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)
Walking free (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)

To the one walking wounded
And to the one with regret
Look up and see your victory is just up ahead
‘Cause there is a Savior
Who knows everywhere you’ve been
And He’s telling you that you never have to
Go back there again
So if you know that you never have to
Go back there again

Then sing
I’m walking, walking
Walking free
No more darkness
Guilt has lost its grip on me
When mercy called my name
Those chains fell at my feet
And now I’m walking walking
Walking free

Walking free (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)
Walking free, yeah (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)
I know, I know, I know, I know
I’m walking free, yeah (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)
I’m walking free (ba ba-da ba-da ba-ba-ba)
